Furloughs

      Furloughs have effected the parent, teachers, and children from taxes and better education.

       Ever since furloughs has started in Hawaii it has been a luxury to children. But as I stated in the beginning. They are cheated because when the parents pay for federal taxes then the money goes to teacher. But because of the furloughs teacher salary is lower. On fridays parents will always have to take off work or have some take off the child for the day they also lose money for this. For students, furlough give them less time to understand what their studying. It is harder for some students to learn more things in one day and then take a quiz the next class. That is the schedule at my is school on four day weekdays.

      

      

My Risky Buisness Draft

Alcohol is the like the drug which parents warn you from taking. But those teens out there think it is cool to have a thing that could effects your body in the most harmful way. It changes you by feelings. You could do dangerous things with your emotions and feeling about thinking of the consequences. It can turn your life upside down!

Teens who take alcohol, are always put out by the society for the actions taking it but it is not all there fault.. Cause without a parent guidance about not doing alcohol. It is higher for teens to take it. Parents have to be more included in there lives. For example UK studies show that parents who show a more favorable and tolerant attitude towards alcohol seem to have the most affected and high substance user teens and children. But in UK it is clearly proven that parent guidance has decreased the use of alcohol directly. Children start experimenting and being to get addictive if they keep drinking alcohol.

Then there is there those parents who are a bad influence to there children as they grow up to be teens. The amount of people who have alcoholic problems is 5 million out of other millions of people out there. Parents with these problems with most likely use marijuana, prescription drugs which are not used for non medical reasons, and all those other bad stuff I don’t want to even mention.

All this will effect their children later in life. Give them diseases. So it is never to late to quit or get help.

Thesis statement:

The cause of alcohol is that parents are not give out the message to not use alcohol.

Con:

The parents may educate the child or teens about alcohol and not to do it. But the teens my do it  even though they know not to and hurt themselves.

Pro One

There rebellious against there parents for what then did to them and the way they are treated by the parent.

Pro Two

The parents and teenagers aren't educated  by the effects of what alcohol can do them.

Wow I don't know where to start. It was just like yesterday I graduated from middle school, a freshman joining high school, and now I really feel like I stepped in to a new world. Also for all the adults and students in high school I bet you that you had so many questions on what will you do for the rest of your life. Well I guess reality for everyone out there we you get to college and then get a job.

      Over your lifetime you look for something that either inspires to do or the most important thing to you in the world. Even maybe something you would give up for even 1 MILLION DOLLARS(Well not so much). But mine is Football I mean I may not be the best at it I love it. If you ever when to a game of NFL, College , High School, or even Pop Warner it is still exhilarating even when the  team makes a score or you just cheers for the other team. Especially when your on the team working day in and day out. Then game day comes when you have that nervous feeling, but as you get on the field either cheering for them or playing in the game you feel that everything is silent in your silent in head all you hear is" Lets Go Team" and coaches yelling at you. As the play starts 4 and 5 yards to the touchdown 10 seconds on the clock championship game. (Goodness I am getting pumped up even writing this cause I hope you are). Boom!!! You feeling invincible  and the QB looking for and opening and finds you open then with the WINNING TOUCHDOWN!!! AMAZING RIGHT!

      But in life there is a time of just studying such as Final Exams which make you nervous to I mean I may not love it as much as football but hey I and  get a good education any day. Doing work to keep your grades up plus studying to. It is also a essential for football. Without the Grades where the playing time. Not Pain No Gain when I come to homework for me. I just try my best in my work to. 

      From all of this I relate myself to the weather I maybe the hot sunny days  from being intense in football games, you know 4th and long. To cheerful with my jokes in my essay. There is the lighting and thunder where ever thing is serious following with Final Exams and studying.

Journal #6

From the book I am reading so far which is perk of being a wallflower relates to coming of age and especially mines is because he goes through a lot of problems through his life, he gets into bad, good, and just plain weird situation and if you read the book don't get any ideas. My life is not as weird as his but he goes thur changes such as liking girls. His brother is in college football player. The day when his brother couldn't come to thanksgiving to celebrate.  He gets to know his family better by his sister talking to him. Charlie goes through alot of change just me and everybody else.

    Through life we all go older and older learn more and more.I still am young so there are more adventures and knowledge that the world holds and what I don't know about. 

      In my coming of age have went through  experience like graduating from intermediate. Then entering high school with no sense of what is ahead of me. Well went I graduated I felt kind of happy to leave that school but also sad. Cause one most of your friends who new for years are going to leave you to go to another high school. Then there is HIGH SCHOOL!!!

      When I was at my old school I was happy to come to a new school and meet new people. I didn't believe in what they said in the movies about high school. About different group of people. The freshman being treated badly and the upper class man pick on them. When I first stepped foot on the school campus. I felt good and positive but as the weeks went by I learned more and more about how the system work here. The are different groups of people. It is like a jungle or forest. See there are us in coming freshman who are the little cubs while the people who school are either nice people(zebras and giraffes) the simple and lay back(pandas) people who do outrageous things(baboons) and the mean and scary people(lions, tiger, and bears).

      But all and all the High School is good after freshman year. You feel more powered over the freshman. You know more people than those you knew from middle school. You have some popularity statics. Well YA!!!!  Hope you like my Coming Of Age essay draft. 

My writing experiences have grow. All of the writing with Mrs.Sueoka has been fun here and there but in the end I thin that the essays and reports really help me to become of a better writer. Making me use more creativity ,more vocab for my essays,more voice,be specific, ideas are more interesting. 

Some of my goals in school is to get higher grades to empress my parents, to keep it up, also to be more of a leader.
