There a lot of good and bad aspects of using fireworks. One good things about celebrating with fireworks is that it carries on the traditional of some cultures. For example, the chinese believe that using firework scares of the bad spirits lurking around them to have a better year. Another good aspect of firework is that it provides a pretty display of the 4th of July celebration.
There are also some disadvantages of using fireworks.If people aren’t careful, fireworks may cause serious injuries. People can get burned and wind up in the emergency room. Another is it can cause brush fires and burn peoples homes. Lastly it emits a lot of smoke that effects people with breathing problems and asthma.

ReplyDeleteYou understand advantages and disadvantages but need to show better understanding of how to structure a pro-con argument. You need to decide which side you are arguing and then use transitions to present both sides of the argument, organizing them as con and pro. You also need more specific support for whichever idea you are favoring.
